New Proposed Lighting Regulation for all Home Owners near Camp Bullis:
Dear Cross Mountain Ranch Home Owner,

The lighting issue at Camp Bullis may seem like a minor thing, relative to other events in our lives but it’s important because;

1. Camp Bullis is an important building block in the foundation of San Antonio,

2. Protecting Camp Bullis insures the density of I-10 be kept to a minimum and not like 281

3. As much water as a military base can use, it’s a fraction of what housing would use if Camp Bullis went away.

Lighting is a legal tool to protect the base but protect us in a less evasive future.

I thought that all should know what is the big issue at hand for our area.

Stephen Surratt

President CMR HOA

Boerne Stage Road Construction up-date:
Commissioner Lyle Larson and the County Engineering Staff held a Town Hall meeting on May 6th at Leon Springs Baptist Church. A presentation was given on how the County would handle the up-grade to Boerne Stage Road.

Boerne Stage Road between Cross Mountain Trail and Baywater Stage is under County control, Boerne Stage Road between Baywater Stage and IH-10 is under the City of San Antonio control. Up until now the City of San Antonio had no interest in up-grading Boerne Stage Road. With the help of Commissioner Larson and his staff the County of Bexar County has agreed to take over the reconstruction of the full length of Boerne Stage Road between Cross Mountain Trail and IH-10. The Project has a Construction Cost Estimate of $5,465,000.00.

The Project Scope to include:
1. Expanding and elevating it out of the 100 year flood plain.
2. Provide one 12 ft travel lane in each direction and one 14 ft center turn lane up to the IH-10 intersection.
3. Add cross drainage structures
4. Add 4 ft unpaved shoulders on both side.
5.Consrtruction to start 4Q of 2008 and be completed by 4Q of 2009.

Agave, yucca, sotel, or cactus

Mr. Rafael J. Goyco, 9219 Packtrain Pass, is looking for unwanted agave, yucca, sotel, or cactus that you may need removed from your property. If you have an overabundance, if they are in the wrong place, or you just plain don't like them, he would like to transplant them to beautify his business location. He will remove. Don't kill them - repurpose them. If you can help Mr. Goyco please email your neighbor, Rafael, at whatcanihelpyouwith@gmail.com.
